Olivia Braun
About Me
Olivia Braun (she/her) is a heartfelt and compassionate artist with a deep love for storytelling. She began acting at age nine—making her debut, of course, in Annie Jr. She later attended Oakland School for the Arts for both middle and high school, where she received extensive training in Musical Theatre and Acting.
Some of her favorite stage roles include Trojan Woman in The Oresteia, Gwendolen in The Importance of Being Earnest, Roberta in Danny and the Deep Blue Sea, and Sally Bowles in Cabaret.
While at UCLA, Olivia appeared in several student-produced plays, most notably as April in Savage in Limbo, Jean Harlow in Cassiopeia8000, and Greta in Goodbye Billy the Butterfly—the latter two being new works by UCLA undergraduate playwrights. In her final year, she played Bets in the MFA directing thesis production of Fairview. Her short film credits include Blue (Lee), All Ways, Always (Bri), Goodbye Horses (PA), USC’s Magic Rope (PA), and UCLA’s In the Palm of Space (Associate Producer/Costume Designer).
In 2021, Olivia starred as Liv in the web series We’re Not Strangers, which premiered in 2023 at The New Parkway Theater in Downtown Oakland and has since screened at the Alameda Film Festival and the Toronto International Women’s Festival.
During her time at UCLA, Olivia was honored with both the Mariska Hargitay Scholarship for Acting Students and the Natalie Wood Acting Award.
Since graduating, she has been performing throughout Los Angeles. Most recently, she appeared as Cow in The Sexy Sexy Milkmaid: The Moosical at the Hollywood Fringe Festival.
